*** ICE2 Symposium (Ideas in Cyberspace Education) ***
Dear Colleagues
The second ICE symposium (Ideas in Cyberspace Education) will be held
from 23-25 February 2005, at Higham Hall in the English Lake District.
At this stage all fully residential places are taken but there are a few
remaining
places which include conference and catering but require delegates to
organise
their own accommodation locally. Further information about local
accommodation,
how to register and and the full programme of papers is available from
the conference
website at:
http://www.malts.ed.ac.uk/ice2/
We hope you can join us at Higham.

Focusing around the issues of power, identity and culture in online
learning, the symposium aims to give teachers, developers, researchers
and theorists a chance to discuss the culture, theory and politics of
learning and teaching in the digital domain.
The keynote speaker will be Erica McWilliam from the Queensland
University of Technology. Erica's publications include 'Pedagogical
Pleasures' and 'How to Survive Best Practice'.
The symposium is being organised jointly by The University of Edinburgh,
Coventry University, and the Institute of Education, University of
London.
With best wishes
