Below is a copy of the table of contents for Qualitative Inquiry. The
issues focuses on Portraiture. I didn't know this, but Portraiture is an
established research methodology in education research and from what I've
now read of it, it seems to be aesthetic research, at least as I think of
it. Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot's (by all accounts the mother of Portraiture as
a qualitative research method) lead piece is particularly interesting in
terms of thinking about bringing together art and science in research.
