Hi All,
Moodle continues to generate a significant amount of interest from
colleges looking to change or introduce a VLE to their current ILT
provision. Ferl has several resources that should provide a good
starting point for those considering Moodle such as:
http://ferl.becta.org.uk/display.cfm?resID=7591 - Implementing Moodle at
Bromley College by Barry Spencer.
http://ferl.becta.org.uk/display.cfm?resID=7693 - Developing the Power
Tools in the Teachers' Toolbox an interview with Mike O'Brien who has
recently moved to Moodle.
http://ferl.becta.org.uk/display.cfm?resID=7007 - In The Mood-le For
OSS, a popular article which looks at some of the main features of
Moodle and considerations for anyone considering implementing it.
As always, Ferl encourages contributions from all FE practitioners that
can help us increase our current guidance on making best use of ILT so
if anyone has any other useful information, websites, case studies
please do let us know - http://ferl.becta.org.uk/contribute.
Thanks,
Matt

Subject: [VLES] Moodle - FE Colleges using it?
Dear All,
I'm looking at open source VLE's and I'd be interested to speak to FE
Colleges that are using Moodle, in particular if they're running it on
Windows servers. Please contact me offlist.
Thanks - Art
