An intensive introduction to a range of software packages that support
qualitative analysis is being offered in London, UK and Boston, USA. All
workshops are hands-on and participants will be able to work on their own
data towards the latter part of the workshop. Participants will receive a
Course Workbook with computer exercises and support materials.

Intensive Introduction to NUD*IST (N6)
A two day intensive Introduction to N6 will take place on the on the 24-25
January
2005 in
London, UK. The next N6 workshop in Boston, USA will be on the 7-8 March
2005. The workshop is hands-on.
The first day will give an intensive and thorough overview of the software
including use of the Command Assistant. The second day will focus on
setting up a new project from scratch - participants can work on their own
data.

A two day intensive Introduction to ATLAS.ti will take place on the 7-8
February 2005
in London, UK and on the 1-2 March 2005 in Boston, USA. The workshop is
hands-on. Topics covered include: setting up a project, using families,
networks and the Query Tool plus the new v.5 features. On the second day,

Intensive Introduction to NVIVO 2
A two day intensive introduction to NVIVO 2 will take place on the 21-22
February 2005 in London, UK and 3-4 March 2005 in Boston, USA. The first
day will cover thoroughly all features of the software.
The workshop is hands-on. Worked examples of using NVIVO for literature
reviews, grounded theory analysis and focus group analysis will be shown.
The second day will focus on setting up a new project from scratch -
participants can work with their own data.
