PHP and MySQL - our students use this a lot and produce some decent
stuff - Ullman, L. (2003 Or later edition) PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Web
Sites. ISBN: 0321186486. Berkeley, Peachpit Press (visual Quickstart
Guide)
This is probably the lowest cost book on the subject around.

Subject: Quick route to learning php/mysql
As it says this old dog has a few new tricks to learn and I need a
quick route - I have the O'Reilly web database applications book but
it doesn't seem to be doing it for me - any recommendations of books
or online resources, please?
If I get sufficient replies I'll post a summary back.
