running at the University of Newcastle:
1. Dreamweaver MX 2004: Web Page Creation
Wednesday 1st June
This is a practical workshop for those who would like to use the
Dreamweaver MX 2004 web-publishing tool to create and edit web
pages. Suitable for both beginners and those with some web authoring
experience, this workshop introduces many of the key features of
this popular software package.
2. Fundamentals of Flash MX
Thursday 2nd June
This is a practical workshop for anyone wanting to use Macromedia
Flash to create animated and interactive web content. The workshop
covers the fundamental aspects of Flash including the creation of
vector graphics, animation, interactivity and accessibility.
3. CSS: A Complete Web Style Toolkit
Thursday 9th June
This is a practical guide to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) -
the standards-compliant to deliver professional-looking,
accessible and cost-effective web content. Aimed at web
users who are familiar with basics of HTML and now want to
further develop their own pages, participants will leave the
workshop equipped with a practical understanding of the most
useful tools that CSS puts at their disposal.
