If you can find some RSS events feeds (they need to be in RSS1.0+Events
format), put their URLs in the form boxes, submit, then bookmark the
resulting page. Hey presto, an interactive calendar/aggregator.
There are some CSS formatting problems with this and it's not what I'd
call a future-proof solution, but this is one approach to events
interoperability. It's driven by a Perl ASP, but could easily be
converted to a .cgi script.
