Exploitation of Transport Research Results

This post is available immediately for a fixed term of eighteen months,
with the possibility of continuity, to work on a project “Exploitation of
Transport Research Results via the Web (EXTR@Web)” funded by the European
Commission. With a strong interest in transport issues, you should be
able to critically evaluate research results in order to write reviews for
archiving on the World Wide Web.
A postgraduate degree and preferably a PhD or other research training, is
required in a transport related discipline. Experience of reviewing
literature and research reports and an ability to write good research
reports is essential as are competent IT, organisational and communication
skills. Prior knowledge of the passenger transport, equity and
accessibility, or land use planning and transport research areas would be
an advantage.
Salary on either Research Assistant or Research Officer/Fellow scale
(£19460 - £29128) per annum depending on qualifications and previous
experience.
