Dear list members,
Within the EU Project for Cost-effective development of Urban Wastewater
Systems (www.cd4wc.org) we assess the potential of socio-economic
instruments and technical measures to enhance receiving water quality.
With regard to the socio-economic instruments economists from Athens
have set up an ONLINE questionnaire to evaluate potential effects of
taxes, tradable permits and emission standards in urban wastewater systems.
Please invest 20-30 minutes to select the reasonable options
following your personal experience.

Note: The questionnaire must be seen and understood in the light of its
socio-economic relevance rather than under a stringent engineering
perspective. The main incentive is to obtain a feedback from engineers
and scientists regarding their opinion about the potential of such
instruments to control receiving water quality.
How can you BENEFIT from this?
The results will be made available to all who submit a completed
questionnaire. Everyone returning a completed questionnaire will also
participate on a draw for five Proceedings of the Conference on Urban
Drainage Modelling 2004 (www.udm04.org).
The results will be presented among other issues at the first
CD4WC WORKSHOP on 9th November 2005 in Essen.
