TERENA is hosting the 2nd NREN-GRIDS WORKSHOP in AMSTERDAM on MONDAY
17th OCTOBER 2005.
The aim is to reach common understandings and agreements on how the NREN
and Grid communities can best work together at the technical,
organisational and political levels.
The Workshop is open to members of the NREN community and to members of
Grid projects who have an interest in solving networking, AAI and
security issues in the context of the Grid.
The provision programme will be a morning in which there will be four
scene setting presentations and a full afternoon of discussion aimed at
identifying action items and recommendations.
The provisional programme includes the following topics:
• Global inter-working AAI
• Schedulable deterministic end-to-end pipes
• User & network administrator training
• End-to-end security
