I refer to William Bates message of the 23rd December- He talks about a name
cbange from Urochordata to Tunicata. No "name change" is necessary -you
call the group whatever you want to call it! - You can make up a name if you
want to - this doesn't mean that anyone else has to use it.
Historically, the correct name is Tunicata, it is recognised as such by most
significant workers from the beginning of the 19th century. It is not
actually a matter for debate or even a vote!!- it is a matter of fact as I
pointed out eighteen months ago. I don't really understand the continuing
attention it has been getting.
