CALL FOR TUTORIAL PROPOSALS
The 8th International Conference on Discovery Science (DS'05)
Singapore, 8-11 October 2005
The DS-2005 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials to be
held at the 8th International Conference on Discovery Science (DS-05)
<http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~achim/DS05/>, October 8-11, 2005, at the
Marina Mandarin Hotel in Singapore. The tutorials will be held on the
first day of the conference.
We seek tutorial proposals on all aspects of discovery science. We are
interested in tutorials on established or emerging research topics
within the field itself, but we also welcome tutorials from related
research fields or application areas that are of sufficient interest to
the discovery science community.
The ideal tutorial should attract a wide audience. It should be broad
enough to provide a gentle introduction to its topic but it should also
cover the most important works in depth. Proposals that exclusively
focus on the presenters' own work or commercial presentations are not
eligible. Tutorials can be half-day (approx. 3 hours) or full-day.
