You could try the viewer that's part of our VoxBo package, vbview. It
has some rough edges, but it does some useful things. I'm not sure
how scriptable it is -- you can open an analyze file at the command
line, as in:
vbview foo.img
or a directory of 3D files thusly:
vbview foo/stem [where foo contains 3D files that match "stem*.img"]
In the latter case you can browse the time series graph as well. If
you need to render to a PNG without opening up a window, we have a
separate executable called vbrender that does a passable job of that,
although it's not that flexible.
You can download both programs from our ftp site at:
ftp://voxbo.org/pub/voxbo/updates/voxbo-1.6
In addition to vbview and/or vbrender, you need the file format
plug-ins for analyze, called ff_analyze3d.o and ff_analyze4d.o, which
need to be put someplace public like /usr/local/lib or /usr/lib.
These are linux binaries, and should work on anything from roughly
RedHat 7.3 onward. OSX binaries are available separately. Please let
me know if you find any bugs or have feature requests. We have a
bunch of other tools that could be used alongside SPM, and I'm hoping
to release a more complete set with docs in the near future.
