Hello,
I have a target image (colin27 brain) that is neurological orientation
(right handed) that I would like to use as my source image. The target image
I would like to use in radiological orientation(left handed) (MNI Avg 152 T1)
I have been running SPM with defaults.analyze.flip = 0. So far, I have only
run test data through SPM, so I think I can make a decision as to how best
to set this variable for our lab going forward.
What do fellow SPMers recommend I do regarding orientation for this specific
application and going forward?
1) Should I flip the radiological-oriented image to neurological-oriented
image and change the flip variable accordingly OR should I flip the
neurological-orientated image and keep the flip variable set to 0?
2) In either case, what is the optimal method for flipping an image and
saving the information in the header file? I have MRIcro, which seems to be
commonly used for this, but I have not used it for this previously.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
