*PhD AND POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN FMRI AND HIGHER MOTOR COGNITION. *The
Department of Neurology at the University of Lübeck and Neuroimaging
Center NeuroImage Nord invites applications for full-time postdoctoral
and PhD positions to work in a research project on higher motor
cognition. The work will be undertaken at NeuroImage-Nord based at
Hamburg University Hospital starting. January 1, 2006. NeuroImage Nord
is a neuroimaging Center housing a research dedicated 3T scanner and a
whole MEG system. The initial appointments will be for three years, with
a possible extension of another three years. The project will contain
fMRI studies on multisensory control of actions and on object oriented
actions. The work will be supervised by Ferdinand Binkofski at
NeuroImage Nord and will involve cooperation with Georg Goldenberg and
Joachim Hermsdörfer from the Bogenhausen Hospital in Munich. The
applicant will join an active multidisciplinary research group with
strengths in fMRI, EEG, MEG and TMS with advanced training opportunities
in functional neuroimaging and TMS. A degree in Neuroscience, Cognitive
Science or a related discipline is required as is knowledge of
experimental methodology. Familiarity with neuroimaging methods would be
advantageous. International applicants with or without German language
