Dear Steve, dear all,
when I open an image using the 'display' function there is no visible image and the following error message appears (see below).
SPM2: spm_image (v2.20)
========================================================
Image "/usr/local/spm2/canonical/single_subj_T1.mnc" can not be resampled
The same problem was discribed by Steven Laken:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind0507&L=SPM&P=R87309&I=-3
We extracted the files of spm2_mexa64.tar.gz into spm2.
System: SuSE 9.3, 64 Bit system, Matlab 7.0.4 (R14)
We also tried to use the MakeFile which leads to the following error message:
mex COPTIMFLAGS='-O3 -funroll-loops' spm_sample_vol.c spm_vol_utils.mexglx.a
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/x86_64-suse-linux/3.3.5/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: spm_vol_utils.mexglx.a(spm_vol_access.mexglx.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
spm_vol_utils.mexglx.a: could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
mex: link of 'spm_sample_vol.mexa64' failed.
make[1]: *** [spm_sample_vol.mexglx] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/spm2'
make: *** [Linux] Error 2
------------------------------------
Did anyone solve the problem?
Many thanks
Carsten
