Er - you certainly don't need to normalize the scans, but you will
need to coregister the functional scans to whichever image you used to
create the ROI, to make sure you are extracting the data from the
right place in the functional images. One good check is to use the
defaults-edit menu to change the 'default structural' to be (say) the
first functional image, and then display the ROI (roi definition-view)
on this image, to make sure it is where you are expecting it...
