Hi,
I'm very new to SPM and have just started learning the basics. I'm getting
a strange problem while designing a model for Gender for a group of 159
volunteers in VBM. I've designed the model as a simple regression
(correlation) with the following options selected:
Grand Mean Scaling : No
Threshold Masking : None
Implicit Mask : Yes
Explicit Mask : No
Global calculation : Omit
Then the parameter estimation was done. While calculating the results, the
default contrast "effects of interest" was selected. Covariates were
initially given as 0's for female and 1's for male subjects. 'p' value
correction of 0.001 and extent threshold of 200 were set. After this
point, matlab crashes with an error message from Windows stating
that "Runtime error occured". SPM doesn't give any error.
Same problem happened when i designed the same model for drug status with
0's for Yes and 1's No as covariates. Then these values were changed to
1's and 2's and its working fine. I tried the same by changing the
covariates as 1's and 2's for gender too but no luck. Still matlab keeps
crashing. someone please help.
Thanks in advance.
