I must beg to differ regarding this reply. I recently posted because I was
having the same problem, and this solution doesn't work. You end up with an
identical image, with a new .mat file identical to the old one. Really the
only way I've been able to do this is to use spm_imatrix on the affine
transformation matrix to obtain the actual translations and rotations, then
use other non-spm software to apply those transformations.
