Dear Helmuts and Yazhuo,
As Irina and helmut pointed out before, the MM toolbox version for SPM2
gives different results than the spm99 version. I am currently
correcting this problem. The problem is due to a difference in the SPM2
design matrix and SPM99 design matrix : in SPM2 the predictors in the
design matrix are not mean corrected while they were in spm99. This has
some consequences when performing PCA with the toolbox (and its
implementation, the estimate of the mean is then different).
If you can use the spm99 version of the toolbox available here :
www.madic.org/download/MMTBx/MMTB_down.html. A corrected version of the
toolbox for spm2 and spm5 will be available soon (next few days). Note
that the problem occurs only for PCA analyses and only of you ask for
"removing" the mean from the data.
