you should find it in your SPM folder, in the subfolder /canonical
so if your SPM path is, say, C:\Programs\SPM2, the correct file would be
C:\Programs\SPM2\canonical\single_subj_T1.mnc
on a linux machine, it should be something like
/usr/local/spm2/canonical/single_subj_T1.mnc
