Yes we are intending to open the source code for the Pipeline. There
are still a couple issues to be worked out with respect to distribution,
due to requirements stipulated by our funding institutions.
Some addendum to my comments yesterday:
The addition of the Wiki to our support system provides users with
access to the latest available information. The Wiki contains all
information related to the usage and development of the Pipeline, and we
strongly encourage all users in making this a vibrant community. Once
again, the Wiki can be found at
http://pipeline.loni.ucla.edu/
The "backend" of the Pipeline will vary depending on the user and the
application. The system is very flexible, and allows you to run jobs
locally if your computer has the appropriate application or to run them
remotely over a network connection. Binary executables can easily be
added to the environment without the need for recompilation. A mixture
of local and remote processing can also be performed, and the pipeline
will handle the data transfers.
The Laboratory of Neuro Imaging provides compute resources and numerous
data processing algorithms to its collaborators. Interested parties can
register as collaborators through our LONI Resource website,
