Position in Imaging of Cognitive Psychopharmacology
Applications are invited for a position in the Cognitive Neurobiology
Laboratory (head: Dr. C.M. Thiel) at the Department of Biology and
Environmental Sciences, University of Oldenburg, Germany. Applicants should
have an interest in the neurochemical modulation of sensory processing,
attention, learning, or plasticity.
The holder of the post will have responsibility to conduct
pharmacological fMRI studies in the above area. Applications are invited
at the pre- or postdoctoral level. The ideal candidate would have a
medical degree but candidates with other degrees (e.g. Neuroscience,
Psychology) are also encouraged to apply. Prior experience in functional
imaging (especially data analysis, modelling, MatLab) and/or human
psychopharmacology would be an advantage. Salary will be according to
BAT IIa or BATIIa/2 depending on qualification. The position starts in
October 2005 or later and can be funded up to 5 years.
