Berlin Neuroimaging Center (BNIC)
We are an academic, neuroscientific center in Berlin-Mitte. We focus our
research on the function of the human brain using a non-invasive imaging
modality (www.berlin-neuroimaging-center.de). We are looking for a PhD
student. You will support a project studying neuronal inhibition in
humans, by developing specific tools for the analysis and modeling of
fMRI, EEG, NIRS and TMS data. The position is set-up for three years
(BATIIa/2 to BATIIa depending on background of candidate) . To support
your personal development you will be affiliated to the BNIC, the
Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin
(www.cns-berlin.org) and the group 'Neuronale Informationsverarbeitung'
at the TU Berlin.
We will be happy to welcome you in our groups, if you have a masters
degree in science or engineering and have obtained a working
knowledge in biomedical data-analysis or modeling. Since our groups are
possessed by questions to the brain, we appreciate your curiosity . We
offer you access to a dynamic and motivating neuroscientific research
group in Berlin. Our wide spectra of psychophysiological methods und
questions will be your challenge and contribute to your training in
clinical and cognitive neuroscience. Additionally we encourage you to
participate at the international graduate program in medical neuroscience
in Berlin (http://www.charite.de/medneuro).
