Hi Bob,
With the software MRIcro (freely downloadable online) you can open the file
containing 1890 images (it tells you that it contains several volumes and it
will open just one of them), then select 'save as' from the menu, check the
orientation of the images by clicking on the box 'preview' (you may need to
choose a different orientation, the default is axial, or to flip L/R,
top/bottom, contrast), then select the appropriate 'save' box (save DICOM,
or save Sun, or save Intel), choose the name, and it will save a file for
each volume.
It is better to check the orientation of the images after that. MRIcro uses
radiological coordinates (what you see on the right of the screen is the
left side of the patient)

Subject: [SPM] For DICOM fMRI files
Dear all,
Can anyone tell me how to do fMRI analyses for GE fMRI i files (DICOM) files
such as i371912.MRDC.1, .....i*****.MRDC.1890 for a 90 (21 slices) volumes.
I know first I should convert the DICOM to Analyze .image.
However, I can only get one image file for the 1890 i files, then I do not
know how to go farther in SPM2. Please help. Many thanks.
Bob
