SPM99 is a very long time ago now. If I remember correctly, you should be
able to use the Display button, and specify any colour you like for
displaying the blobs.
If you use the sections button, then I think it just superimposes the blobs
using a hot metal colourscale. You could then adjust this by typing the
following in Matlab.
c=colormap;
c=[c(:,3) c(:,2) c(:,1)];
colormap(c)
