Hi Gavin,
you do not give a lot of information. Just a quick shot: did you account for
the 'mean' of each session, i.e. did you enter an additional zero in your
contrast (ie., in case you have 2 sessions with e.g. 5 regressors each, your
contrast will have to have 2x5+2=12 fields).
