Hi Cyril,
great decision to move on to EEG data. :-)
Right now, there isn't a routine in SPM/MEEG to convert *.avg files to
the SPM-format. Currently, the only way is to read in your raw data and
perform all the preprocessing steps up to the average.
However, I remember that I once wrote such a conversion function. I'll
check whether I can make it available and come back to you.
We're working on a manual, including a detailed documentation of the
file format. For now, you can also look into the conversion function
spm_eeg_rdata or spm_eeg_rdata_bdf to see how one would do a conversion
to SPM format. I guess that a first version of the manual (for the M/EEG
bit) is available in a few weeks time.
