I just skimmed the Left/Right posts, and haven't seen the following
suggestion:
Run a 100 second scan where the subject finger-taps for 10 second blocks
on/off with their right index finger. After processing with the appropriate
settings your results should show predominantly left motor activation.
If nothing else, it puts ones mind at ease that your data are being
converted / normalized / processed correctly (or some combination of
incorrect settings made things work out in the end).
