Biomed Imaging - Research and Development
The Department of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania's School of
Medicine seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in
either the tenure track or the non-tenure research track. Track will be
commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience
in the field of Biomedical Imaging with a focus on Imaging Analysis and
Computation. Responsibilities include teaching in newly proposed Graduate
Group in Biomed Imaging and developing an independent program in imaging
analysis emphasizing applications in neurological/neuropsychiatric
disorders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have
demonstrated excellent qualifications in Education and Research.
(Research track candidates will engage in limited teaching only). All must
demonstrate potential for raising external funding. Of particular interest
are geometric, diffeomorphic and group-theoretic approaches to image
analysis.
