I think, for what you want to do you need access to the images that your
statistics is based on. It is not enough to copy the analysis directory
(where your SPM.mat resides), but also the directory with the smoothed
images which you entered for analysis. Since SPM.mat contains full paths
to these files they have to be stored in exactly the same location as on
the machine you started the analysis. Alternatively, you could try the
"change SPM.mat" from my Volumes toolbox. Just copy the attached archive
into your SPM2 software folder and unpack it. After re-starting SPM you
will then be able to access the toolbox.
