Hello -
While attempting to conduct a group analysis using a 1-sample t-test, I was
able to build the basic model (with between 3-7 contrast images), but upon
trying to estimate the model, the process stopped immediately and the
following error appeared in the command window:
SPM: spm_spm (v2.66) 16:42:19 - 01/04/2005
=======================================================================
Initialising parameters : ...done
Output images : ...initialised
Plane 1/46 , block 1/1 : ???
Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback.
??? Maximum variable size allowed by the program is exceeded.
Error in ==> /usr/local/Mathworks/spm2/spm_spm.m
On line 580 ==> I = [1:blksz] + (bch - 1)*blksz;
%-voxel indices
Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening or how it might be
fixed? We are running SPM on Matlab 6.5.1 under RedHat 9, and have installed
all updates to SPM (July 2004). A colleague running with a similar set up
does not get this error. The variable blksz appears to be undefined when
checking at the matlab prompt (after the bail out), and nScans also appears
to be undefined (relevant because blksz depends on nScans).
Many thanks,
Deidre Kolarick
