Hi,
I have a question about what the proper PPI approach should be. I found that activity in a
particular brain region correlates with a behavioral measure of attention (though it doesn't show a
significant main effect). I am interested in finding out which other areas (presumably also
attentional or object processiong areas) are functionally connected with the seed region. One
option would be to do a normal PPI and look for 1-sample significance at the group level.
Alternatively, I could run the PPI, but then look for regions which show connectivity that is
correlated with the same behavioral measure that the original seed region was correlated with.
The idea there is that if a region is involved in some behavioral outcome, then areas that are
functionally connected with it and relevant for the behavior should show connectivity correlated
with that behavior.
which is the most appropriate approach to take?
thanks,
Amit
