Sebastien,
The output you report isn't an error message, it is just SPM/Matlab reporting an addition to your path. The actual error you are encountering is likely printed following that output.
The way I setup the toolbox, which runs successfully from the toolboxes menu, is by renaming the directory from "slice_overlay" to "display_slices" within the toolbox folder (e.g. '.../spm2/toolbox/display_slices').
The drop down list will then include "displayslices" which will run the display_slices.m file within the display_slices toolbox directory.
The underscore is not an issue on either the PC or SUN that I have in front of me.
Cheers,
Scott
