Dear SPM developers,
I would like to use the 'slice_overlay' toolbox of M. Brett with SPM99
and SPM2.I downloaded the last version at :
http://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/Imaging/Common/display_slices.shtml
I put the 'slice_overlay' directory containing the toolbox in
'/my_spm99/toolbox' and 'my_spm2/toolbox' directories, in order to be
able to launch the toolbox directly from the SPM interface (button
TOOLBOXES).
The problem is when I press the 'slice_overlay' button in SPM interface,
I reveive this error message :
>> ~ - SPM2: sliceoverlay toolbox ------------------------------------
>>
>> Toolbox directory prepended to MatLab path:
>> /home/spm/spm/spm2/toolbox/slice_overlay
>> >> ----------------------------------------- 17:37:47 - 25/03/2005
I think that this error comes from the spm.m function :
- for SPM2, version 2.87, line 1154 :
--> tboxs = [tboxs, {strrep(tbox,'_','')}];
- for SPM99, version 2.67, line 1066 :
--> tboxs = [tboxs, {strrep(tbox,'_','')}];
The spm.m function replaces 'slice_overlay' by 'sliceoverlay' and can
not launch the toolbox using function 'slice_overlay.m' (spm.m expects
function 'sliceoverlay.m').
Note that the toolbox is working perfectly (both for SPM99 and SPM2)
when I use 'slice_overlay.m' directly in the MATLAB Command Window.
I would like to know if there is a reason why the '_' character is
systematically removed from toolbox names and what can I do to use the
toolbox with SPM interface ?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
