Postdoctoral Researcher, Cognitive Neuroscience of Aging
A vacancy exists for a postdoctoral researcher to participate in an
NIA-funded program studying the effects of aging on the neural correlates of
memory. The program will employ fMRI and ERP methods to investigate the
functional significance of age-related changes in neural activity associated
with episodic memory encoding and retrieval. The researcher will be based in
the Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory
(http://www.cnlm.uci.edu), and collaborate with members of the Institute for
Brain Aging and Dementia (http://www.alz.uci.edu). Applicants should be
experienced in the use of fMRI and/or ERPs to study human memory. Previous
experience of research in aging would be advantageous. Salary will be
commensurate with experience.
