Some aspects of data analysis should certainly be fixed. But for some
of those we mentionned during this discussion, I would also prefer to
come up with recommandations that make everybody - authors, reviewers
and readers - responsible rather than with once-and-for-all-fixed
cookbooks and p thresholds (after all, what's the difference between
p=0,049 and p=0,051? and between 0,051 and 0,053, etc.?), even if
it's less reassuring.
So, if we extend the Wiki page with "pros and cons" where necessary
(see the "Reporting design matricies" issue) and perhaps an annotated
bibliography, people would have a (very) good reference guide and
could decide by their own.
