Hello
Assuming that you want to use an image generated by another contrast
(derived from a different SPM.mat file), perhaps the simplest thing is to
bring up that contrast at your chosen threshold and then save the image
(click button marked "Save" underneath "Overlays" and "Plot" buttons). When
you produce the contrast of interest choose "ROI Analysis" then "Saved File"
and the browser will allow you to choose the image that you've saved.
Note that this is an inclusive masking.
