Dear Matthew Brett & List:
I have started using MNI-Display (regarding which I also recently posted a
msg to the MarsBaR list: [log in to unmask]) and find it
an excellent tool for tracing anatomical ROIs. Although I also like MRIcro,
Display has some unique features that may better suite some purposes -
e.g., simultaneous tracing in 3-D view (cor, sag, trans), and fast
manipulation of images (e.g., continuous zooming), plus.
Although there has been no problem converting .mnc anatomicals to .img for
use in SPM, we have not yet successfully converted the ROIs (saved
as .mnc 'labels' in Display) - they seem to lack info about the base space,
be distorted, and full of holes. If anyone has suggestions regarding
reasons and/or potential remedies (i.e., conversion methods), it would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd
