Bin,
I am getting the dataset together from the 1993 work (published 1998).
Currently its 'best' form are the original paper records, but I hope to get
you a digital version - ie. a spreadsheet and associated observation gate
locations map.
I would not recommend using the 'mass obs' data. These were the result of a
a hastily organised workshop on observation methods at the SSS4 conference,
and I understand that not all observers understood the need to count at
gates for a set period. Treat them as suspect - a bit of conference fun more
than anything else.

Re: Publically available standard test cases
Dear all,
With reference to the observation dataset
(http://www.thepurehands.org/massObs/), I wonder if anyone there has
used it for some verification, say, if local integration predicts the
observed pedestrian rates.
Actually I am looking for observation datasets of pedestrian rates of
any urban systems. If someone would like to share with me his/her
datasets, could you kindly contact me? Many thanks in advance.
Cheers.
Bin
