Dear friends of the space syntax community,
After three years of work, we are glad to announce that we are finally
distributing our software worldwide.
Mindwalk, version 1.0, is available at the site:
http://www.mindwalk.com.br
The four main features of Mindwalk are:
1. It works not only with axial lines but also with continuity lines,
the technique we presented at the 5th Space Syntax Symposium.
2. It is written in Java and runs on several different platforms,
including PC, Mac and Linux. The only pre-requisite to run Mindwalk is
a Java Virtual Machine, which is available at
http://www.java.com/en/download/.
3. It is fast and robust, being able to analyse maps with several
thousands of lines.
4. It is free for academic and non-commercial use, just download and
start using!
The complete information about Mindwalk is available at:
http://www.mindwalk.com.br/software/
The site also contains our recent research on the continuity lines:

We would be glad to hear any comments about our software and the new
technique of continuity lines. Please, do not reply this e-mail to the
list. Write a new one to [log in to unmask]
