Post: Content Manager – Fixed Term
Reporting to: Head of Content/Creative Projects Director
Date: 16 November 2005
Science & Media LLP is a new joint venture between London’s Science Museum
and investors Fleming Media, aiming to become a leading player in the
field of international touring exhibitions.
Building on the success of its launch event “The Science of…Aliens” this
October, the company will conceive, build and operate a series of
blockbuster exhibitions under the brand “The Science of….” creating a
unique global multimedia franchise based on the exploitation of rich, self
generated intellectual property.
The company is a standalone partnership that will independently build on
the Science Museum’s existing exhibition business, and extend it into new
content channels. We will launch a new blockbuster exhibition at the
Science Museum every year, “The Science of…” in addition to extending the
brand into new media, publishing and other related products.
