External Relations Assistant (biomedical)
The Society for Endocrinology, a charity representing hormone scientists
and doctors, is looking for an External Relations Assistant. This mainly
involves: dealing with the media and public enquiries for the Society and
other organisations and a range of administration and sales support
activities
The job requires excellent interpersonal skills, good written English, a
high degree of organisation, and you will need to project yourself
confidently, and build relationships with senior doctors, scientists, and
the media. You will need to deal sympathetically with patient enquiries.
A PR background or a biomedical degree would be an advantage. We are
looking for someone who can bring maturity, commitment and stability to
this position.
