We are looking for a person who can translate science into a format that can be readily understood by industry and commerce. This is a technical communications role working across a set of technical programmes funded by DTI. The person will require an understanding of both the scientific and communication techniques involved. Accountabilities of the role include:
- Work with scientists across the division to identify knowledge developments suitable for conveying to industry.
- Identify and deliver a portfolio of events and publications to achieve efficient dissemination of knowledge.
- Build close working relationships with scientific staff.
- Identify business opportunities that arise during the course of conducting marketing activity.
- Manage technical clubs to foster an active online community.
