Maybe you could team up with media students in your
university/neighbouring college to make the short film as part of their
assessment? That way you get their developing expertise, equipment and
editing tools from their school and you might be able to get local
funding should you need it. Good luck, it sounds like a fun film!

No, no..what I have in mind is very different from that. The movie is
actually about a special dumpster where scientists from all over the
world
get free stuff to furniture their temporary apartments in the US..well,
