I don't really care whether you as an individual want to call yrslf a
poet or not. That's up to the individual. If you want to call yrself a
poet, fine. If you don't want to, if you wish to repudiate entirely
the idea of being a poet, that's equally fine, although I don't like
such a complete denial of talent in the face of such obvious
accomplishments as your poetry.
It's the practice that matters - so we agree in that respect.
