Co-founded with Farley, as far as I know. And 'co-founder' is how he's
described on Virginia Anderson's JEMS site. (And she'd know better than Eno,
I suspect.) You may well be right about 1970 rather than 1969, though, since
he only got to Portsmouth in 1969 and their first documented public concert
was in 1970.
