I remember people invoking "evolution" (or their interpretation of)
to validate blokish behaviour, as doubtless this will be invoked to
bolster religion. To be told that I still carry with me the baggage of
religion isn't exactly news. Having declared that god is dead, we are
left with the task of wading away from the corpse, grief and guilt on
all sides, but distinctly a move away from, and the formation of
something new.
The one thing about evolution is that change is everything.
Doubtless Winston's book will find a nice place on someone's coffee-table.
