It's an interesting novel (with parts of an historical novel about
Katherine the Great by one of the characters fit in), published by
Coach House Press in 2002.
One of those coincidences I think; I have to read his stuff right now &
chose the novel just the other day; then read your fascinating
commentary (again I wish I were there).
