The killer in Dom's explanation was the hexadecimal allusion --
"l33th4xx" -- I almost reached for my calculator to decode that.
But life's too short -- how much does it amount to in euros?

Actually, though it took a hell of a time to reach the point, Dom's thing
was pretty much pelucid and turned basically on the software/hardware
divide, Dom being one of those few geeks who run both.
... cut his milk-teeth on machine code and can construct a computer from Irn
Bru.
Mind you, there are prolly more sysops than poets on this list, odd when you
think on it.
Worse places to be -- there's a poetry list where's there's someone who
doesn't even find the concept of programming in Forth on the
corpse-interfaced Ace in reverse Polish notation a joke -- apparently
blindingly obvious to him as he grew up with them.
